The Shamrock is a national symbol of Ireland itself and Irish pride. It appears on all state symbols, military insignia and is worn worldwide as a mark of being Irish ( or Irish for a day on March 17th).

The kit includes hand cut 14 count white linen Aida, the Shamrock pattern,  Emerald Green 100% cotton embroidery thread, needle and needle threader. 

The Celtic Cross Stitch Kit comes in a cardboard packaging, which can be recycled.

The Shamrock is a small three leaf clover that only grows naturally in Éire. The ancient Celts and Druids saw three as a sacred number so the Shamrock carried spirtual meaning and was thought to ward off evil.

St. Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Christian trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).
