Shamrock Kit
The Shamrock is a national symbol of Ireland itself and Irish pride. It appears on all state symbols, military insignia and is worn worldwide as a mark of being Irish ( or Irish for a day on March 17th).
Threads of tradition, rooted deeply
The kit includes hand cut 14 count white Aida, the Shamrock pattern, Emerald Green 100% cotton embroidery thread, needle and needle threader.
The kits are as sustainable as possible, all paper is recycled and no plastic is used in the kit. It comes in a reusable jute bag, with the 100% cotton thread on a card board bobbin.
The Shamrock is a small three leaf clover that only grows naturally in Éire. The ancient Celts and Druids saw three as a sacred number so the Shamrock carried spirtual meaning and was thought to ward off evil.
St. Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Christian trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).
