Shield Knot

The Shield Knot is an ancient Celtic symbol with four equal distinct corners and interwoven design,  often depicted as a square or circle of interlacing pattern,  forming an unbroken loop.  The structure represents eternity,  continuity and units.  

The Shield Knot was used to income protection against evil spirits,  illness and misfortune,  making it a mark of strength and unity.
