Book of Kells (Original)

Inpired by the intricate beauty of the Book of Kells, this hand stitched piece draws on the rich tradition of Celtic art and illuminatoon. Interwoven knots, flowing lines and ancient symbolism echo the pages created by the Irish monks over a thousands years ago.  Blending heritage with textile craft,  the piece reflects the devotion,  storytelling and artistry that made the Book of Kells one of Irelands' greatest treasures. 

Hand stitched báinín 100% cotton on black aida, cream mount, in a black approx. 14" x 14"  square wooden frame for wall mounting.
